Graduate Credit

Graduate credit is available through Lindenwood University for classes taken at CSD at an additional cost of $60 per credit hour, payable to Lindenwood University. Requirements for graduate credit:

  • Attend class
  • Develop a lesson plan that incorporates the technology learned
  • Include supporting materials (worksheets, assessments)
  • Write a reflection explaining how technology enhances your lesson plan
  • Sample Rubric for lesson plan

Two hours of graduate credit will be given for:

  • Creating Technology Rich Lesson s to Increase Student Achievement
  • Digital Learning Academy: The Read/Write Web for the Classroom
  • Movie Maing in the Classroom: Creating Digital Stories and Photo Essays
  • Second Life for Educators Level I
  • Teacher Timesavers: FREE Online Resources
  • Using Technology with Classroom Instruction the Works

One hour of graduate credit will be given for:

  • Classroom Projects Using Digital Cameras
  • Creating Activboard Lessons to Engage and Motivate Students
  • Creating SMART Board Lessons to engage and Motivate Students 
  • Differentiating Instruction with Discovery Streaming 
  • Empowering Students with Podcasting
  • Evaluating Student Work with Differentiated Scoring
  • Google Academy: Search, Learn, Share!
  • Online Street Smarts Being Legal, Literate and Secure
  • Promoting Student Inquiry Using WebQuests
  • Teaching Higher Order Thinking Skills inthe Elementary Classroom Using Spreadsheets
  • Teaching Students about Charts & Graphs (featuring MS Excel 2007)
  • Tracking Student Learning with VoiceThread
  • Second Life for Educators Level II
  • Using MS PowerPoint in the Classroom
  • Using MS Word in the Classroom
  • Using MS Excel in the Classroom
  • Using MS PowerPoint in the Classroom
  • Videoconferencing for Boundless Learning
  • Wiki Your Way to a Classroom Website

No graduate credit available for Transforming Learning with a SMARTboard, Transforming Learning with a Promethean Activboard, Performing classroom Observations Using PowerWalkThrough, Moodle training, Using iPhoto and Using GarageBand.
