For successful videoconferences, your district must provide a point person to act as a liaison with the Virtual Learning Center.
Responsibilities of the point person include:
1. Take programming requests from teachers in the district.
2. Fill out CSD request forms & fax or e-mail in at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
3. Perform a test call with CSD or MOREnet prior to the v/c.
4. Make sure equipment is connected at the site at the time of the program.
5. Be available to supervise the program, or have a trained person on site during the videoconference to troubleshoot if problems arise.

• All coordination and planning for programs, including a three part model videoconference that has proven to increase student motivation and performance.
• All bridge scheduling and connections for programs.
• Troubleshooting of equipment, on site training and test calls.
• Free participation in three technology classes each for three people taught in our technology-enhanced learning environment classroom on 1460 Craig Road.
Each person must take “Boundless Learning with Videoconferencing,” and may elect two other classes. For more information, click on the class option on the left.
