Video Help Desk

We have over 500 employees and are staffed 24x365, so that you do not have long hold times or are told that you have to call back when tech support is open. In addition, we do not outsource our video help desk to a third party, so you are speaking to an AT&T employee. Another benefit to you is that we maintain a centralized customer history that can reference the implementation dates and review any previous issues. This one point of contact makes it easier for you when you have questions or problems arise. If you do experience a problem, our technicians will perform remote diagnostics testing, dispatch a field technician and see the project all the way through to making a video test call following the resolution, making sure that you are completely satisfied. We support over 3.1 million ports and over 6000 end points with all videoconferencing applications such as ISDN, IP, or ATM.

Standard Warranty
AT&T's standard warranty provides phone assistance is provided free of charge during the first 30 days. Parts and labor are covered for 12 months on Polycom equipment, with the customer responsible for shipping the unit to Polycom for repair/replacement. However, this exclusive agreement with CSD includes 3-years of next day parts and telephone assistance.


AT&T Free On-Site Training (Provided by AT&T's Education Advocate)

1. Training for the Video Administrator (IT Director, Technology Coordinators, Library Media Specialist, or other Technology Leaders) can be provided following installation.
3 hours. The training will cover basic operation and give trouble reporting procedures for future maintenance. The person(s) trained should be someone who will continue to be involved in the video operation and someone willing to help users establish calls. A user manual and some basic, local operating information will be provided to help you get acquainted with the system. Informal training is included in the distance learning option packages.

2. Training for Teachers and Staff
This training can be customized and will cover all the basics of video conferencing. Additional web resources will be provided along with an online content providers directory using the Knowledge Network Website. The Education Advocate will be flexible and available to train all your staff and understands that several sessions may need to be scheduled if multiple schools are involved. Additionally, the Education Advocate can schedule special sessions on-site or in the classroom to assist teachers during their initial video conferences to assure their comfort with the technology.
