Chat & Chew Book Club
The Chat and Chew Book Club reads and discusses current books and is for all readers (students and faculty that enjoy leisure reading). Students and faculty will participate in group discussions of specific books chosen by the club. The discussions are enhanced by tasty treats.
Meeting DatesThe purpose of the Gateway Readers Award is to promote literature, literacy and reading in Missouri high schools, and to recognize authors and illustrators of books that are favorites of Missouri students in these grades. Each year, Missouri students in grades 9-12 vote for their favorite book from a list of nominated titles. The Gateway Readers Award is awarded to the author of this book by the Missouri Association of School Librarians.
WHO MAY VOTE: Missouri students in grades nine through twelve are eligible to vote for their favorite book if they have read at least THREE of the titles on the current master list.
