Thanksgiving Break
  1. Balfour will be here next Monday, Nov. 23rd during all lunch shifts to deliver rings.
  2. Attention Key Club Members:  If you are interested in working at the Festus Food Pantry on Saturday morning see President Jennifer Henderson for information.
  3. The FHS History Club will meet Monday, November 23 right after school in Ms. Cooper's room (200). 
  4. Truman State University will be in the Counseling Office on Tuesday, December 1 at 9:00.  Stop by the Counseling Office to pick up a pass to visit with them
  5. Project Prom will be selling ice cream this Friday during each lunch shift.
  6. Girls track meeting on Friday after school in cafeteria.  Anyone that is interested in participating please attend.
  7.   Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCA, meets this Thursday at 7:00am in Mr. Tedford's Room 100; join us for donuts and a devotion.
  8. Students you are invited to join the FHS Chat & Chew book Club for the December meeting.  This months book is Beastly a retelling of the Beauty and the Beast story in present day.  Come by the library, pick up a copy to read and join us Tuesday December 8th for our holiday meeting.
  9. The monthly speech and Theater Meeting is Friday after school because of the Faculty meeting.  All speech and theater members should attend for information about the Holiday party and spring play auditions.
  10. Seniors, you have 6  more days to place your t-shirt order. The cost is$12.00 any size cash only please .Order forms are in the front office. Bring the money and the form to Mrs. Fernández
  11. SENIORS:  If you plan to attend Jefferson College next Fall, the Jefferson College scholarship applications are now available in the guidance office.  APPLY NOW!
  12. The coin drive began .The cans for the money will be out during lunch every day.  This is a battle between classes.  All silver is negative and pennies and bills are positive.  All the profits go to the Jefferson County Mission.
  13. Junior Stuco Reps and any other junior interested in helping with prom need to meet in Mrs. McDonald's room 218 Wednesday November 18 at 2:45.
  14. Senior Picture Yearbook Deadline is extended to  November 30th.
  15. TREND members: Your permission slip for the trip to Ronnie's Cinema should be given to Mrs. Wolk by Wednesday, Nov. 18th.
  16. The Spanish club is celebrating The Mexican Revolution, All students are invited to participate in the Pancho Villa’s Mustache’s count. Come to room 211, and count how many mustaches are in the picture of Francisco Villa, He  is well known for his big mustache.The prize for the correct or closest count of mustaches is  $20.00 gift certificate to La Pachanga.  The winner will be announced on November  20th. Note: Place a form with your name and the number of mustaches in spanish and return it to Mrs. Fernandez before or after school in room 211. You can find this form in Mrs. Fernandez'
