  1. The History Club will be meeting today after school in Ms. Cooper's room (200).  We're going to be discussing historical myths and monsters.
  2. Varsity Soccer Players: The bus leaves is at 3:30 today.
  3. Congratulations to Senior:  Sierra McGoveran nominated by Mr. Shemwell, Junior Sarah Miner nominated by Ms. Wisniewski and Sophomore Jennifer Coffer nominated by Mrs. Lassing, Freshman AJ Hammers nominated by Mrs. Bohn.
  4. Anyone interested in Theater Tech or backstage crew should come by room 212 today for a short informational meeting and sign up.  See Mr. Borgmeyer if you can't make the meeting.
  5. Thank you for visiting the library during Teen Read Week.  Our last two winners are Lucy Hudson and Caleb Shepard, please come by the library and claim your prize.
  6. Varsity football defeated Windsor Friday night 41-33.
  7. Chess club will meet Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27th, at 3:15, in the cafeteria.
  8. If you are 16 years old and are signed up to give blood on Friday, your consent forms need to be in to Mrs. Harms in room 104 by Wednesday.  Appointment cards will be handed out by NHS students on Wednesday.  Students are to use these cards as a pass to get out of class.
  9. A+ Seniors: You may check your A+ status at Mr. Earley's office noon to 2:00 daily.
  10. Have Suggestions?  Tell stucco with the new suggestions boxes that are located in all the main offices.  We appreciate any you have.
  11. NHS is hosting a blood drive at the high school on Oct 30th.  See a NHS member to sign up if you are interested in donating blood.  16 year olds must have a permisssion slip signed by their parents prior to the 30th. 
  12. Seniors, submit your  t-shirt design. Due date is October 31th of October. Please see Mrs. Fernandez for details.
  13. Senior Picture Yearbook Deadline is Oct. 31st.
  14. Everyone is invited to Winter Guard tryout. Training for Tryouts will be held in the gym from 5 - 7pm on October 27th and 30th. Tryouts will be from 5 - 7 on November 5.
  15. Red Ribbon Weeks start next week:  Tuesday is TREND Assembly, Wednesday is Wear Red Day (Red Caps ONLY can be worn).  The top three classes with the best participation will receive donuts.  Thursday is Stick it to Drugs.  Wear Duct Tape.  The top three classes with the best participation will receive donuts.  Friday is Say Boo To Drugs.  Wear a Halloween costume to school. NO MASKS PLEASE
  16. SENIORS:  The Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship application is now available in the guidance office.  This is a GREAT opportunity for students planning careers in aviation, aerospace, engineering, or technology.
