- FHS Chat & Chew Book Club--we will meet today in the Library to discuss Unwind. Come and join the discussion with us.
- Everyone is invited to tomorrow night's Fall Band Concert in the gym at 7:00 PM. The Concert Band and Jazz Band will both be performing. The concert is free and open to everyone!
- Attention students: Tomorrow is the last day to pay your dues for key club. If you plan to join bring your 6 dollar dues to Coach Montgomery tomorrow.
- Attention Varsity softball players: Turn in your uniforms tomorrow to Coach Montgomery after school in his classroom.
- SENIORS: See Mr. Shemwell ASAP about a scholarship opportunity if you are planning on attending SEMO next year.
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet this Thursday at 7:00 a.m. at Mr. Tedford’s room 100, join us for donuts and devotion.
- Art Club Meets today. There are no requirements other than to be ready to work.
- Speech and Theater Club students going on Thursday's field trip need to check the list outside room 212 to make sure that their names are on the list and permission slip has been turned in. Students going on the trip need to make sure that they have made arrangements to make up all work and tests that may result from missing 3rd-6th hour on Thursday.
- All Speech Team members competing in next weeks meet must come to a brief meeting after school this Thursday to discuss the final roster and information for next week. If you cannot make the meeting, stop by room 212 to confirm your speaking events.
- FBLA members going to fall conference, your first payment is due this week!
- Spanish Club, Members we are taking t-shirt orders. The price is $9.00 please cash only. due date isOctober 16 th.
- Seniors, submit your t-shirt design. Due date is October 31th of October. Please see Mrs. Fernandez for details.
- The following colleges will be in the Counseling Office during the month of October. Check the windows in the Counseling Office and stop in to get a pass to visit with the colleges of your choice: today Fontbonne Univ. 1:10, Mon. Oct. 19-Lindenwood University 8:30 and Tues. Oct. 27-Hannibal-LaGrange College 10:30.
- Senior Picture Deadline is Oct. 31st.
- We are kicking off our UNICEF fundraiser sponsored by Key Club please be generous.
- Everyone is invited to Winter Guard tryout. Training for Tryouts will be held in the gym from 5 - 7pm on October 27th and 30th. Tryouts will be from 5 - 7 on November 5.
- SENIORS: Remind your parents that today at 7 p.m. is our annual Senior Parent Scholarship Night. It is highly recommended that at least one parent attend this event. Parents should RSVP the counseling office if they plan to attend so that a packet can be made.
- STUDENTS: If you are at least age 16 and have an interest in participating in Walgreen's annual Job Shadow experience, see Mr. Shemwell ASAP. You must have an interest in pursuing a Pharmacy degree in order to participate in this program.
