School Profile FESTUS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL is located 30 miles south of St. Louis in Jefferson County Missouri. The school hosts approximately 975 students in grades 9 through 12 daily and is fully accredited by both the state of Missouri and the North Central Association. The school has also been named a Missouri Gold Star School and a Missouri A+ School. Academically, the Festus School District was recognized for Distinction in Performance in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, and 2008. School colors are black and gold and the school mascot is the tiger. The city of Festus has a population of 11,200 and is composed of a diverse population of both white and blue-collar workers. Many citizens commute to St. Louis daily for employment. |
