After reading all ten books, first, second and third grade students will vote for their favorite book.  The winner will be announced in April.

Scholastic Reading Counts is a computer based reading, motivational and management program that helps to monitor independent reading.  The students read a book then take a comprehensive quiz.  If they pass the test, they earn points. They will then trade their points for prizes!!  For more information visit the Scholastic website.

The Super 3 is a process model of how people solve information problems.  This system was developed by Michael Eisenberg and Robert Berkowitz.  The three steps (Plan, Do, Review) helps young students get a handle on information problem solving.
