Festus Elementary School, home of the Tigers, is located in the heart of picturesque Jefferson County, MO.  Festus is just minutes from St. Louis, but still manages to offer that small town feel.  Festus Elementary is a part of a growing school district.  We offer a program centered on ensuring that every student receive a truly suburb education.  We employ an incredibly gifted and skilled staff of professionals who seek daily to educate the children of Festus.  The staff is formed into Professional Learning Communities which gives the teaching staff a chance grow professionally both individually and as a group.  The entire curriculum centers on the balanced literacy concept.  Under this idea, teachers look at students not as groups, but as individuals with individual needs.  This idea that each student is an individual, carries through in everything that is done within the school.  The teachers, administrators, staff, and parents of Festus Elementary School are committed to “Building Strong Foundations To Promote A Lifetime of Learning."
