Professional Development for unitedstreaming - THREE Ways

CSD is excited to announce the expansion of the Virtual Learning Center (VLC). We are proud to continue our partnership with Discovery Education and have added unitedstreaming to the many technology resources we offer through our VLC. Discovery Education's unitedstreaming is a digital video-on-demand service brought to educators nationwide. The possibilities of using unitedstreaming are endless. This incredible resource empowers educators to capture teachable moments in the classroom, incorporate clips into a multimedia presentation and student learning environments, and is ideal for project and inquiry-based learning. Administrators have the ability to track the usage and effectiveness of unitedstreaming and technology coordinators have the ability to customize unitedstreaming to fit specific technology needs. By using unitedstreaming in your classroom, the use of this evaluated resource is supported by scientific research to fulfill mandates set by NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND. This user-friendly resource is complementary to any educator in the classroom today. Search a video library via curriculum standard, keyword, subject area, grade, producer, new releases, or all available titles. The VLC is proud to have Stephanie Madlinger as the lead trainer for unitedstreaming. Stephanie has many years of classroom experience along with several years of leadership in technology professional development. Visit our Virtual Learning Center website at http://www.csd.org/vlc to find the entire line of technology education we have to offer you and your staff.
