Customizable to meet your needs

uscustome

Teachers - Each unitedstreaming video has teacher resources and can be customized to meet individual needs. Every video is linked to state standards, lesson plans, and other teacher tools. Teachers have access to hundreds of clip art and images to use on websites, tests, worksheets and more. Educators can also use pre-made quizzes, writing prompts, and assignments that go with unitedstreaming videos or create their own. There are many user-friendly features, as of June 2006. One feature is the My Content section of the site, where teachers can store favorite videos, quizzes, or other resources to use at a later date. Teachers can share these resources within the school or district.
Technical - The management system gives the administrator the option to create reports that gauge the effectiveness of the unitedstreaming program. The system allows for subscription administrators to manage usage and generate statistics on unitedstreaming usage that support district needs and goals. The report may be generated by specific date, groups or users to support the effectiveness of the integration of technology. A subscription administrator can choose who is viewing a specific program or clip, and determine the time viewed and IP address of the user. In addition, an administrator can see what videos have been viewed for the entire account, by a specific user, date, or popularity. Network administrators can monitor their network usage by viewing whether the program or clips are streamed or downloaded. By installing and using Network Manager Software administrators have the ability to restrict media streaming and downloads during high use hours along with other administrative features. If you are intereseted in installing Network Manager Software in your district contact Stephanie Madlinger for further information (314) 692-1212 or smadlinger@csd.org
