METC 2008's new venue: St. Charles Convention Center

Exhibit Hours
METC will held at the St. Charles Convention Center, One Convention Center Plaza, St. Charles, MO 63303. The exhibit area will be open Tuesday, February 5, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday, February 6, 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.


Rental Charges and Space Reservation (Exhibitor Application)

Please indicate your first, second and third choice of location (see floor plan) on the exhibitor contract. Please note price difference based on space requested. Space will be assigned in the order in which contracts and payments are received. CSD reserves the right to make any adjustments necessary throughout planning.

Each 10’ x 10’ exhibit will be set with 8’ high backwall drapery and 3’ high side rail draperies. In addition, each booth will include:

  • 1 – 7” x 44” Exhibitor I.D. sign
  • One – 8’ draped table & two side chairs
  • Security guard services
  • 1 – 500 Watt electrical outlet (FREE, if ordered in advance; use decorator order form attached to exhibitor application)
  • Breakfast and lunch both days, two people each day

The exhibit area is NOT carpeted. To enhance the appearance of your booth, rental carpet is available through Heritage Exposition Services.

Booth payment or written arrangements, approved by CSD, must be made by December 21, 2007 in order for booth space to be held. Space is limited thereafter.


Schedule Your Demo Time!

This is a great opportunity to increase traffic to your booth. You must respond by December 21, 2007 to be included in METC's conference program book..


Booth Set-up and Dismantle

Display space may be set up in the St. Charles Convention Center on Monday, February 4 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. The exhibit hall will open Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dismantling cannot begin before 3:30 p.m., but must be completed by 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.


Selling from the Floor

Exhibitors may sell items during the exhibit. Neither CSD nor St. Charles Convention Center are responsible for any losses or liabilities that occur due to this activity.


Sponsorship Opportunities

Make your booth stand out by sponsoring a speaker or special event (e.g. refreshments, exhibitor reception, breakfast, etc.) or donation of services / equipment. Contact Dorothy White at (314) 692-1250 to discuss options and make arrangements. Coffee and tea will be served each morning. To sponsor this service for your customers, payment of $100 and a contract must be received by December 21, 2007. Your company will receive recognition in the conference program.


Program Advertising

CSD offers vendors the opportunity to advertise in the METC program this is distributed to the conference participates and to CSD members and other interested parties throughout the year. Advertisement must be submitted by December 21, 2007.

Ad files must be one or two color files. The second color is pms 355 green, black is the first color. PDF files must be high resoulution (300 dpi halftone), (1200 dpi line art). Please include fonts. Adobe Illustrator files 9.0 or lower are also acceptable. Convert type to outlines. Quark 5.0 or lower are also acceptable. Pleae collect for output. Stuffing of files is recommended before emailing. for questions on file submission, contact Joe Saputo at (314) 692-1265.


Decorating Services

Heritage Exposition Services, St. Louis is the official decorator for the exhibit area. all contracted exhibitors will recieve a packet that includes information on shipping, storage and prices for miscellaneous items (e.g. phone lines, internet, additional tabel or chair rental, etc.).


Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of any portion of the exhibit contract must be made in wiritng to CSD and will be effective on the date of receipt. If the cancellation is received by December 21, 2007, the refund amount will be 75%. There will be NO refunds after January 4, 2008.
